It’s Monday and while I am happy to see the start of a new week, I really wish I could go back to bed. I have never had trouble adjusting to daylight saving time but yesterday and this morning have been rough. Anyone else having a hard time adjusting???
Friday was my monthly outing to Scott Antique Market. I spent a bit of time shopping this market and purchased some goodies for my ConfettiStyle Designs Etsy shop. I also picked up a few business cards from new furniture resources I hope to use in a design project down the road. The show this month was great and the vendors were all heavily stocked with new items.
Here’s what I saw and bought…
I really liked these globes turned light pendants. Such fun for a kids space or boys bedroom.
These lamps stopped me in my tracks. They had to be about 5′ tall!
There are lots of great pieces just waiting for a DIY project.
Boy would I love this vintage wood feed bin for storing ribbon and craft supplies.
This vintage bamboo dining table was AMAZING! The dealer snagged it in Palm Beach and had it marked at $1200.
Loved this tall vintage bottle drying rack.
More and more pillow designers are showing at Scott’s and this vendor had a great selection to choose from!
There are quite a few vendors that sell vintage grain sacks. Some are classic and French while other are bold and graphic and from the USA. I purchased two more subdued patterns for $4.00 each. Yea me!
This cabinet was amazing. Check out the paneled front and brass hardware. The inside was left in its natural stain finish which provided a great contrast to the outside.
If you’re in the market for a map, you’ll find what you need at Scott’s.
The good thing about the Scott market is that you can find just about anything from true and rare antiques to mid-century modern looks. This mirrored console was stunning.
I can think of so many great uses for this vintage bucket. First would be filling it with a bunch of hydrangea.
A chest of drawers cut down and turned into an upholstered coffee table.
Old ammunition box that went from this….
to a cute little foot stool!
A drawer turned end table. Pretty clever!
Loved this headboard and pillow.
Vintage letters were everywhere at this show. This vendor had a ton of letters in all fonts, sizes and colors.
This French jug made for an adorable lamp.
A great looking chandelier made from a vintage basket.
I loved the upholstery on this chair, burlap back, linen front and patterned welting.
Lots of vintage yarn and thread spools up for grabs! A couple came home with me.
Love the vibrant colors of these pillow covers!
Just in time for spring, these baskets would be great for creating a unique front door flower arrangement.
And a few other trinkets I bought for my shop.
I’m a sucker for wood printing blocks and gathered up the letters to spell out Happy Everything. This is my new motto!
Lakewood Antiques market is coming up this weekend so that means I need to get some sleep so I’ll be in top shape for more shopping.
