Blog Love: Some of My Faves

Reading Blogs is just about as addictive as pinning images over at Pinterest.  I’m up to 23 boards and over 400 pins, which grow on a daily basis.

One great blog leads to another and then another and so on and so forth. On a daily basis, I read more blogs than I care to mention or really have time for, but I can’t help myself.  Amongst the many that I read, there are a few that make my favorites list.

Blog Love

I follow many blogs, but there are always a few that stand out in crowd, ones that I look forward to reading every day.  One of my favorite blogs is High Heel Foot In The Door, penned by the very talented New York designer Camila. 

Camila writes about many different subjects related to interior design, but one of my favorite elements of her blog are all the DIY projects she completes, along side husband and handyman extraordinaire, Jon. 

With Camila’s design vision and Jon’s craftsmen skills, this duo can work some magic on a piece of furniture, create inexpensive, but dynamic wall decor and turn an ordinary space in their home into something beautiful.

Here are a few of their DIY projects that deserve rave reviews….

 

Camila and Jon rescued this chest of drawers before in landed in the landfill.

 

     Jon went to work, and transformed it into this!

 Camila and Jon took some black electrical tape and created this wonderful striped wall  in her sister’s NY apartment.

 Whenever I feel like I want to get my hands dirty and undertake a DIY project, I turn to High Heel Foot In the Door and see what Camila and Jon have been up to.
