I took a little break from work on Friday and scouted around Etsy to see what cool stuff I find. I found lots of stuff I love, but there was one shop I fell absolutely head over heels for.

Angela Kay makes the most adorable iPad and e-reader cases using fun and modern fabrics.
The bags are priced between $43 and $53 which I think is a great deal for the uniqueness of the item.
Here are my favorites (among many)…

I love that each case has a different fabric inside and out.

The clasp closure gives each case the style of a handbag. So cute!

There are so many beautiful patterns to choose from. I adore the black and white case above.

And I love, love, love this orange and teal fabric.

Angela also sells cute wallets and clutch bags. Here are a few of my favorite clutches (’cause we all know how much I love a cute clutch!)

This ticking stripe is perfect for summer. The yellow flower is removable in case that’s not your style.

Love this classic chevron pattern.

Love the vintage feel of this fabric, for those days when I want to be really girly.
Ok, now everyone that loves these bags as much as I do, raise your hands!
Really cute, right?
To check out all Angela’s cute stuff, head over to her Etsy Shop here.
Do you have a favorite Etsy shop or item? If so, leave me a comment and let me know what it is so I can check it out.
Until next time…

When it comes to decorating within a limited budget, painted picture frames are one of my favorite design options. Not only can you buy frames at thrift store and flea markets on the cheap, but painting them yourself is a simple and easy DIY project.
Here’s some visual inspiration plus a few great sources for painted frames, should you decide to not go the DIY route.

Best of Etsy: Christmas Cards
Posted in Christmas, Christmas Cards, DIY, ETSY, HAND CRAFTED on November 28, 2011 | 1 Comment »
Now that Thanksgiving is over (and I hope yours was great), it’s time to start thinking about your Christmas Cards.
When it comes to Christmas Cards, I always try to make my cards by hand rather than buying boxed cards from a store. I think handmade cards are a great way to infuse a unique touch into the season and share something special with family and friends.
I know many of you may not have the time, energy or desire to make your cards by hand, but love a handcrafted card just as much as I do, so I’ve spent a little time roaming around Etsy and have come up with 8 of my favorite handcrafted cards ready and waiting for you to buy and send this holiday.
Check them out…
A beautiful work of art…classic and elegant. DancingPenandPress
I love the mix of materials and all the texture this card has. ShopPaperScissors
Simply adorable! SusanTracie
I love the fun and whimsical feel of this card. Robinandtea
Love all the pattern mixing going on with this card. Comingupcrafts
What a unique take on a Christmas Card..Christmas tags. These would also make great gift tags as well. thefunkiejunkie
Bold and beautiful…nothing says Christmas like a holiday ornament. ChampagnePress
A little touch of retro styling gives these cards lots of charm. AlmondCrafts
So, don’t you agree these handcrafted cards and just the cats meow!
You only have about two and a half weeks before you cards have to be in the mail, so head on over to Etsy and get to shopping!
p.s. I’m in the process of making my Christmas cards and will be sure to share the fun when the glitter settles.
Happy Monday!
