I don’t know how many times I’ve said the following words: “Paint is the quickest and easiest way to change the look and feel of a space.”

Whenever I begin work on a design project, I always evaluate how paint can be used within the design plan.  Paint is inexpensive, can be applied fairly quickly and can turn a oridinary space or object into something unique and special.

If you’re looking for a quick update for the decor of your home, try paint.

Here are FIVE ways to make an impact.

PAINT YOUR KITCHEN ISLAND

Love a splash of color in an all white kitchen

PAINT YOUR CEILING

A painted ceiling draws the eye up and makes a room feel taller and more dramatic

PAINT YOUR FLOORS

Rustic and aged, clean and crisp or totally artistic…painted floors are spectacular design statement

PAINT FURNITURE

Turn an old piece of furniture into a stylish statement with a can of paint

PAINT YOUR DOORS

Such a fun and unexpected design statement

Love, Love, Love the idea of just painting the edge of the door!

So, what’s on your list to paint?
